Materials
ABC cards, with or without points on them
Directions
Like making a crossword puzzle or playing the game Scrabble, students break into pairs or teams and are given seven ABC cards. After janken-ing, the first team makes a word using the cards and the next team makes a word with their letters using one of the letters from the first word. This continues until all cards are used, when finished count the points of each team (if using cards with points) and declare a winner.
Variations
- If you have the time, make a board like Scrabble, complete with Double/Triple letter/word squares!
