Apita (アピタ) is a chain of smaller-scale department stores found around the Kantō, Chūbu, and Kansai areas of Japan. The company is headquartered in Nagoya, and so their presence is strongest in the Nagoya metropolitan area. They are similar to Jusco, however their stock tends to not be quite as diverse as Jusco's. Plus, Jusco is located in all regions of Mie however Apita is only located in the cities along the Ise Bay coast and in the Iga Plateau.

Like Jusco, not all Apita stores are created equally. Some are huge with a vast selection, others are small and minimal. The one near Kintetsu-Yokkaichi Station is the biggest in Mie.
