Japan (日本 Nihon) is the awesome, fascinating, and crazy country where we all came to live. It is not a single person, class, school, town, or prefecture -- but is a nation composed of 133 million people.
There are four main islands: Honshū, Kyūshū, Shikoku, and Hokkaidō. In addition, there is Okinawa, Sado, Awaji, Yakushima, Tanegashima, and a few other major islands.
