The Mie Prefectural Driver's License Center (三重県運転免許センター mie-ken unten menkyo sentā) is the place in Mie Prefecture where one must go to attain a Japanese driver's license.

If coming from Route 23, take Route 165 towards Hisai. 165 connects to 23 south of downtown Tsu near the Takajaya Jusco. Near downtown Hisai, there is an overpass that crosses over the Kintetsu tracks. Immediately after that overpass is a set of lights. Turn right here. The BMV is on this road, about 4 or 5 minutes drive on your right.

Alternately, if coming from the north of Tsu, you may be lucky enough to see the sign for the BMV pointing up an angled road not far beyond the Tsu Station turn-off. This is the other end of the same road. You can take that road, and the BMV will be well sign-posted on your left.
