Subway Bar

Subway Bar or just Subway is a bar with a relaxed atmosphere in Yokkaichi in northern Mie. It is located very close to Kintetsu-Yokkaichi Station and is open late.

Directions

By Train

Make your way to Kintetsu-Yokkaichi (近鉄四日市) Station. It's about five minutes from the station.

1. Take the north exit from the station. You'll go down some stairs and come to a bright area with pillars where straight ahead is the Kintetsu Book Center and you must turn either left or right -- head right.
2. You'll shortly come to a stop-light leading into a shopping street. Turn left at this light (don't go down the shopping street).
3. Walk to the first stop light. The Loisir Hotel should be just across the way. Turn right onto the road that runs in front of the Loisir Hotel.
4. Walk past the front of the hotel passing its front doors on your left. Shortly after passing the hotel, you'll come to sign suspended above a street that says "2番街", turn left onto this street. If you reach Suwa Park (諏訪公園), you've gone too far.
5. Take the first right, it will lead down a side street.
6. Walk shortly down this street and Subway will be on your right.

By Car

Coming from Kuwana

1. On Route 1 near downtown Yokkaichi, look for the manga cafe "Super Freaks". It will be on the right side of the road on the corner of the intersection named 中部. Turn right here.
2. At the second stop light, turn left. Park your car around here, then on foot find your way to the stop light in front of the Loisir Hotel.
3. Head east at this intersection, towards Suwa Park (諏訪公園).
4. Walk past the front of the hotel passing its front doors on your left. Shortly after passing the hotel, you'll come to sign suspended above a street that says "2番街", turn left onto this street. If you reach Suwa Park, you've gone too far.
5. Take the first right, it will lead down a side street.
6. Walk shortly down this street and Subway will be on your right.

Coming from Suzuka

1. If coming north on Route 23, switch over to Route 1 before getting to downtown Yokkaichi. There should be signs.
2. On Route 1 near downtown Yokkaichi, look for the manga cafe "Super Freaks". It will be on the left side of the road on the corner of the intersection named 中部. Turn left here.
