This Guidebook is comprised of firsthand accounts of the experiences of ex-pats living in Mie Prefecture. As the editors and writers have lived in the prefecture they are well-acquainted with it in many ways but that doesn't mean there isn't room for error.
We don't have fact-checkers working for us and no official organization oversees the input of content into this guidebook - there are liable to be some inaccuracies in the guidebook, either due to out-of-date information or input of muddled information.
That said, 99% of what's in here is solid and you won't find this much info (in English) about living in Mie Prefecture anywhere else.
