Directions
Students get in pairs and janken to see who asks questions first. The winner chooses one of the characters on the bottom level, and their partner's goal is to determine which they chose by asking them questions. At each fork, the partner asks a question such as 'is it ---' or 'is she ---' and the winner answers according to the path that leads to their character.
Variations
- Listening practice: done individually, students listen to the teacher say a word and circle the first letter of the word.
