Structure
- Spend 10 or 15 minutes covering "I live in...", then hand out prepared (with katakana) self introduction sheets. This is a great lesson to watch as it brings together everything the students have learned so far.
- The intro generally goes like this: "Good morning / afternoon. My name is (name). I live in (town). My birthday is (month) (day) and I am (age) years old. I like (animal), I like (color) and I like (fruit). I have a (brother / sister / cat / dog / fish). Thank you."
- Each student gets to introduce themselves for the class. For really big classes, shorten the introduction.
