Welcome Beach Party Schedule

The AJET Welcome Beach Party is an annual event held in August each year at Kō Beach in Shima, usually the first weekend after the arrival of Group B. It gets most of the incoming JETs in Mie on the same beach for a full day and many recontacting JETs are there as well as many of them are interested in meeting the new JETs.

Train Times - 2010 Schedule

Though any number of trains can get you to Ugata Station by 10:45am, each year a big group of JETs all take the same train to Shima. Those who would like to ride down with a bunch of other JETs should take the following train.

Coming from the north (Nagoya Line)

You will be riding a Kintetsu express train bound for Toba (鳥羽).

You will be riding a Kintetsu rapid express train bound for Ujiyamada (宇治山田), and will change to an express train bound for Toba (鳥羽) at Ise-Nakagawa.
