Directions
First teach/review vocabulary (colors, animals, etc.). The first person to slap the card that the ALT says wins the card.
Variations
- Flyswatter: Cards are on the blackboard, students split into teams, one person from each team goes up to the board and hits the right card with a flyswatter.
- Finger Karuta: Instead of cards spread out on the table, students point to pictures on a sheet
- Twister: To keep higher level students from constantly winning, they must keep their finger on the cards they have already won
