Also Known As: しちならべ (shichinarabe)
Time
10-15 min
Materials
Deck of playing cards (or other cards that have an order) for each group
Directions
Split students into groups of up to 6. Deal out the cards evenly between students. The students with sevens (or the middle card of the deck you're using, i.e. Wednesday for days of the week) lay them down face up. Going clockwise, students play cards consecutively and say the name of the card or pass if they do not have any. For instance, a 6 or 8 of hearts can be played beside the 7 of hearts. The first person to get rid of their cards wins.
