Northern Mie
- Kuwana : Age-Uma Festival
- This ridiculously dangerous May matsri consists of a horse getting lifted up to the top of a large wall
- Suzuka : Nejaka Buddha Festival
- For two days a year in mid-March, a shrine in downtown Suzuka unveils its sleeping Buddha images.
- Kameyama : Ōichi
- A three-day festival in January that celebrates Kameyama's heritage as stop in the Tōkaido.
Central Mie
- Meiwa : Saiō Festival
- Two-day event in early June commemorating the arrival of the Saiō, a Heian-era imperial princess, in Meiwa
Eastern Mie
- Shima : Ise-Ebi Festival
- Watch giant lobster floats get paraded through the streets at this June matsuri
Western Mie
- Iga : Ninja Fest
