The '''AJET Welcome Beach Party''' is an annual event held in August each year at [[Kō Beach]] in [[Shima]], usually the first weekend after the arrival of Group B. It gets most of the incoming JETs in Mie on the same beach for a full day and many recontacting JETs are there as well as many of them are interested in meeting the new JETs.
